Top Ten Selling Games in the UK for the Last Week of August

If you’re wondering which games were shipping the most units in the UK for the week ending on the 29th of August 2015 there’s a handy chart in this article just for you. It’s nice to see that not one or two but five new releases made it into the top ten last week including Xbox One’s Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, which topped the chart, and PlayStation’s Until Dawn, which came in second. Lego Jurassic World stays on the list and shockingly Minecraft also stays there not once but twice. Sadly games like Fifa 15, Dying Light and Battlefield: Hardline had to move out of the top ten in order to make room for all the new games. I’ll mark the new releases on the list below so you can easily identify them.

1: Gears of War: Ultimate Edition (NEW)

2: Until Dawn (NEW)

3: Disney Infinity 3.0 (NEW)

4: Madden NFL 16 (NEW)

5: Lego Jurassic World

6: Grand Theft Auto V

7: Dishonoured: Definitive Edition (NEW)

8: Minecraft: PlayStation Edition

9: Batman: Arkham Knight

10: Minecraft: Xbox Edition

You can check out the entire list of the top forty selling games from last week right here. That will show games such as Rare Replay and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt moving down the list, perhaps the Witcher’s sales will improve when its upcoming DLC is released. Some lucky games, such as The Last of Us: Remastered and God of War III: Remastered, actually managed to move up a few places on the list. Lastly some games stayed put, such as Bloodborne and Project Cars which both came in at 39 and 40 respectively which barely made the cut.

Until Dawn was narrowly beaten to first place.
