Mirror’s Edge UK Collector’s Edition Exclusive to Game
If you’re a huge Mirror’s Edge fan with £159.99 just waiting to be spent then you’ll be happy to know that Game will, exclusively, be stocking the Mirror’s Edge Catalyst Collector’s Edition. What will the rather large sum of $159.99 get you? Well the game, a 14” tall diorama statue of a young and old Faith, an exclusive steel bookcase, exclusive lithographs, ten concept art pieces, temporary logo tattoo and Faith’s arm tattoo along with a storage box to keep it all in. I reckon it will only be the most hard-core fans that’ll be putting money towards this, you’d have to have a lot of “faith” in the developers.
That is a lot of stuff, but is it worth £159.99?
Mirror’s Edge Catalyst takes place in the city of Glass as Faith struggles to uncover its dark and hidden secrets. Players will have to master traversal as they free-run through the environment in a first-person point of view. You’ll also have to master your timing during combat if you want to survive in this city. It’ll be interesting to see if consumers have enough confidence in Game to pre-order a £159.99 collector’s edition after what happened with Super Mario Maker. Mirror’s Edge Catalyst is launching across PS4, Xbox One and PC on the 23rd of February 2016.
