Jesper Kyd To Score Darksiders II

BAFTA-winning Danish composer Jesper Kyd [renowned creator of the soundtracks for Hitman and Assassin’s Creed] has crafted a score for the title that incorporates a mix of “dark ethereal themes and melodic fantasy” to enrapture players as they enjoy their journey through the game’s environments.

Alongside Jesper is famed composer Giles Lamb. Lamb, in charge of crafting the campaign score, has composed for hundreds of TV shows, films, commercials, and games over the year.

Jim Huntley, VP of Global Marketing states,  “The emotion that Giles brings to the marketing creative with his unique score is unparalleled. He immediately sets an unforgettable tone & theme for how we’re portraying Darksiders II’s protagonist, Death.”

I don’t know about you, but the musical score sounds pretty intense to me. Darksiders II is set to release June 29th.
