Black Ops 3 Beta Gains an Extra Life

Due to popular demand Treyarch have decided to breathe life into the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta on PS4 for one more day. Treyarch announced, via their Twitter account, that the beta, which was supposed to end on Sunday the 23rd of August, would be extended until today, Monday the 24th. This is exactly what they had to say on Twitter, “for those who have been asking, we agree… let’s keep the PS4 #BO3Beta rolling. We’ll end it Monday at 10pm/PST. Let’s go!!!” That means the beta will be ending on Tuesday at 6:00am for those in the BST time zone. The only issue for late comers to the beta is its 12GB file size, if you want to jump in make sure you start downloading it soon or else it might be too late to get much enjoyment out of the game.

The Black Ops 3 beta combines the exo-suits of Advanced Warfare with the wall-running of Titanfall. Three maps are featured in the beta including Hunted, Combine and Evac, you will be able to play any of the following modes across all three maps: Team Deathmatch, Hardpoint, Demolition, Kill Confirmed, Capture the Flag and Search and Destroy. The beta also introduces players to five of the new Specialists including Battery, Ruin, Outrider, Prophet, Seraph and Nomad all of whom have their own unique look, voice, weapons and abilities. Unfortunately Black Op’s Zombie modes are not included in the beta. The full Black Ops 3 game will launch on November 6th  alongside its elaborate Juggernog Edition which even includes a mini fridge.
