Telltale Games have today confirmed rumours that have been going around the internet for months, and revealed that Sam and Max will be coming to the Wii. However, their move to the console will not be a brand new adventure for the duo, and will instead be a re-working of the first-season compilation, which was available for PC last year. It is currently unknown if new sections will be added to the six games that made up the season, or if it will just offer the same levels over again to be played using the Wiimote and the Wii’s other unique controls.
The game has not been given a solid date as of yet, but is currently scheduled for release sometime this autumn in both the US and Europe.

Sweet as! Its games like these that can help solidify Nintendo’s decision to have a remote for a controller. S&M + Wii = Popint-and-click genre hitting casual gamers market?

F-ing A, for some reason i’ve put off playing the new Sam and Max but this would definately get me back in front of the Wii. Just hope it’s a quick and well done port.

I really hope they don’t try to shove any arm-flailing into this. Just pointing and clicking, please.
