No killing for Batman in Arkham Asylum

A recent update on the ESRB website has revealed that Batman: Arkham Asylum will be rated Teen in the US, with Batman not killing any of the enemies he fights.

“This is an action game featuring characters from the Batman franchise. Players assume the role of Batman as he fights (never kills) his way through a psychiatric hospital populated by psychopathic criminals and humans infected with a toxic virus,” comments the site as part of its rating summary

This may be disappointing to some, but before you start saying that Eidos ruined Batman, lets not forget that the recent release of The Dark Knight movie was rated 12A, and still had its fair share of dark moments.

The game is currently touted to have a June 9th release (in the US) on PS3, PC, and 360
