Newly founded Amplitude Studios announces Endless Space

It seems during the busy schedule of last week’s GDC we missed a new games announcement from Paris based Amplitude Studios.

Called Endless Space, this new 4X sci-fi strategy game for PC and MAC digital distribution is set in a rich filed universe with millions of years of history as well as the remnants of lost civilizations. Guiding one of the eight civilizations available, players strive for galactic dominance either by exploring every corner of the universe to find powerful artefacts, overwhelming other civilizations with advanced technologies, or simply destroy anyone who opposes you.

A neat thing is Amplitude Studios are allowing gamers to participate in the development of the game thanks to an accessible and innovative program called “GAMES2GETHER.” Mathieu Girard, the CEO of Amplitude Studios says “Few industries have such a vocal community and even fewer have the luxury of listening to the feedback that it provides. During the many years we have worked in game development, we have particularly enjoyed working with communities and sharing, discussing and comparing ideas. Many great games today would not be what they are without that support.”
