Impire Cover2

Impire incoming

Paradox, the company made famous by Mount & Blade, is announcing a new game in their strategy empire.

Impire, as the game demands it be named, is offering players a unique idea for gaming. While Dungeon Keeper and Dungeons have already paved the way for this new title, Impire is promising to take the dungeon-building game design one step further. Details were listed earlier today and include the following:

– User-designed dungeons filled with different room types and an assortment of deathtraps
– Minions of every shape and size to be leveled up and equipped with upgraded equipment
– A custom deck of magical item cards to be unlocked and built to suit any playing style
– The opportunity to squash pesky heroes beneath one’s hooves and grind their souls into helpful dungeon-building resources
– A perilous campaign to be played in solo or co-op mode
– Many multiplayer modes to confront and crush one’s so-called “friends”

Additionally, Paradox has released a trailer video to go with the new game.

The game is slated for release Q1 2013. ‘Til then, go play Dungeon Keeper. GoG sells it pretty cheap last I checked.
