You May Continue, Young Grasshopper

As many well know, the announcement of the Nintendo Revolution controller at the Tokyo Game Show last September turned the heads of the media, fans, and developers. Many developers such as Yoshinori Kitase (FFVII) and Atsuhi Taniguchi (Tenchu DS)have spoken words of support and possibilities for Nintendo’s new toy.

The director of Killer 7, Suda 51 (Gouichi Suda), has hinted at a Revolution game being developed in the past by his studio (Grasshopper Manufacturer), and has now confirmed it in an interview with Japanese magazine Famitsu. Following his praise for the controller (which he claims will change the face of gaming), Suda says that his new title will exceed Killer 7, and will focus quite heavily on direct input from the controller. As far as development goes, Suda reveals that he is finalising his plans for an original game.
