World of Warcraft Hits 9 Million Mark

Blizzard Entertainment have announced their stupidly successful MMO World of Warcraft, which debuted in North America on November 23rd 2004, has reached a new milestone, with a player base now totalling more than 9 million subscribers worldwide. The company have also revealed that they are currently working with its partner for World of Warcraft in China, The9, to prepare the game’s first expansion, World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade, for launch in mainland China, P.A.R.T.Y time China readers, Wooo!
