US Metal Gear Anniversary Pack Considered

Michael McWhertor, over on the Kotakuest of blogs is reporting that he recently had a small chat Anthony Kraus, Konami’s Marketing VP in the USA where he asked about the possibility of the company bringing Metal Gear 20th Anniversary Collection to North American shores. Interestingly, Kraus seemed willing to speculate on the matter and confirmed that they’re “considering it” and are currently questioning retailers about potential interest in selling the product. Finally, when questioned about package been the same as the Japanese one an answer of “very similar” was received. If a US release does happen then a Euro release could very well follow it, well hopfully!

The package, which retails for ¥6,250 ($53 / £26 / €39) in Japan, boasts a long list of games from the history of Metal Gear and contains the original Metal Gear, Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake, Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops, Metal Gear Saga and The Document of Metal Gear Solid, the last two are DVD’s.

Ok, that’s enough text, here is a nice picture of the collection that could be sitting pretty on you shelf in the future.
