Underperforming XBLA games to get delisted

In a recent interview with Next-gen.biz Xbox Live general manager Marc Whitten has revealed that many XBLA games that have not sold well will be delisted from service in the future.”We will be delisting older underperforming titles in order to keep the service focused on a section of high quality games,” Whitten commented to the site

“The way it will work is that the title will need to be at least 6 months old and have a Metacritic score below 65 and a conversion rate below 6 percent on the service.” Conversion rate means those who downloaded the demo and went on to buy the full game.

“We will also give a three-month notice before delisting any title,” he concludes.
