Activision’s big release last week, X-men Origins: Wolverine does even better in Week 2, selling 16% more units than at launch, but the Adamantium-clawed one has to settle for second place, as Wii Fit has no intention of moving downhill.
EA keep the No.3 spot with FIFA 09 (sales up 13%), while Mario Kart Wii and Resident Evil 5 swap places at places No.4 and No.5. Both Call of Duty: World at War and Professor Layton move up one place to numbers 6 and 7 respectively.
Rhythm Paradise moves up a whopping twenty-six places, as sales jumped 125% since its launch last week. It’s a similar situation with the highest ‘new’ entry into the Top 40, as Hannah Montana: The Movie was actually released last week, but sales rocketed 154% this week, ending up at No.14.
The Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Athena is the biggest loser this week, dropping seventeen places to land at No.23.
