Nintendo’s Wii Fit maintains its No. 2 position, and managed to register its 3rd largest sales week ever, with a 75% rise in sales. Mario Kart Wii is also a non-mover at No. 3 and managed a 26% gain in copies sold.

Ubisoft’s Brothers in Arms: Hell’s Highway wasn’t too badly affected by the Great Game Theft as it’s our highest new entry this week at No. 4, and only 2,250 sales behind Mario Kart. For those interested, 65% of Hell’s Highway’s were sold on Xbox 360 and 35% on Playstation 3.

Disney has the only other new entry in the Top 10 with the really-rather-good Pure at No. 8. Family Trainer from Bandai Namco is the final new entry this week, and riding on the back of Wii Fit’s success and limited availability it manages to get to No. 14.

This week last year Halo 3 entered the charts at No.1. In this week’s chart it makes a nice 1st anniversairy re-appearance at No.20.

EA now only have one game in the Top 5 (Tiger Woods), but the release of Fifa 09 next week is sure to kick start sales for the US publishing giant.
