Sales of Prototype are down 20% in its second week of release, but sales of The Sims 3 halved over last week, so the PC smash hit has been pushed down to No.2. Xbox 360 remains the preferred platform for the open-world action title, with 61% on Microsoft’s platform, 36% on PS3, and just 3% on PC.

Wii Fit climbs one place this week, returning to the top 3 for the first time since it was knocked off the No.1. spot over a month ago. The first Ghostbusters film may be 25 years old now, but clearly Venkman & Co. still have their fans, as The Video Game debuts at No.4 despite currently being a Sony exclusive in Europe. Only 2% of Ghostbusters sales were on PS2, with the rest on PS3. We’ll have to wait until later in the year for the Atari-published Nintendo and 360 versions of the ghoul-destroying game.

The recent price drop on Call of Duty: World at War is still having an effect, increasing sales by 59% this week, and moving up two places to No.5. Meanwhile, Red Faction: Guerrilla moves in the opposite direction, sales falling by 46% and dropping three places to No.6.

The bottom of the top 10 has a sporty theme this week, as EA Sports Active falls to No.8. Virtua Tennis 2009 increases sales by 33% up to No.9, which was boosted by the release of the Wii MotionPlus compatible version. And EA’s Grand Slam Tennis moves up three places to No.10, no doubt helped by the start of Wimbledon this week. Grand Slam Tennis was the UK’s first MotionPlus compatible title, and sales jumped up by 47%, beating the Wii version of Virtua Tennis by more than double.

Indiana Jones and The Staff of Kings had a very strong second week, with sales whipping up by 158% and shooting thirteen places up the charts to No.13. The only other new entry in this weeks chart is ARMA II, which debuts at No.19.

The biggest loser this week is Sacred 2, dropping fourteen places to No.32. The biggest winner is Resident Evil 5, jumping up fourteen places to No.20.
