Trailer Attack: 17th March 2016 – King of teenage armored kingdoms

The weekend is close, and for me, that means the excitement of going to my second Video Games Live at Manchester’s Albert Hall on the 19th March. But before I rock out to some brilliant video game tunes, let’s see what March 17th, 2016 has for us in terms of trailers.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan

Mixing PlatinumGames’ always-energetic style with the attitude of Nickelodeon’s Heroes in a Half-Shell, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan delivers fast-paced, team-based brawling for up to four players in online co-op. Each Turtle offers a unique way to play, with distinct combat abilities and progression paths. It also features colourful cel-shaded 3D visuals and an original comic story from IDW Publishing series author Tom Waltz.

Daydreamer: Awakened Edition

Daydreamer: Awakened Edition is the story of the last human who rouses from an eternal sleep to an unfamiliar Earth, since Aliens took over the planet thousands of years ago. The nameless protagonist was kept in a stasis chamber as a twisted relic to memorialize their victory. However, the mysterious Immortal Gate Keeper liberates her and sets her on a dangerous expedition to the Earth’s core. Be warned though—the aliens will do whatever it takes to get their trophy back, and the Earth is filled with frightening creatures that hunger for human flesh.

Armored Warfare

Developer Obsidian Entertainment and global publisher My.com are showcasing an important class of vehicles: the Armored Fighting Vehicles. The Armored Fighting Vehicles are the scouting stars of Armored Warfare, with an extremely good view range, along with being very fast and hard to detect thanks to their generally limited sizes. At the top of the food chain, in the war for vision, is the Combat Reconnaissance Assault Buggy (CRAB), developed by Panhard, a French manufacturer of light tactical military vehicles. Its main role on the battlefield is to seek enemy vehicles for their teammates to target and destroy.

The King of Fighters XIV

SNK releases its latest teaser trailer for the PlayStation 4 exclusive title, confirming the return of fan favorite characters “Kim” and “Vice”, and reveals the new characters “Sylvie Paula Paula”, a mysterious pretty little girl who masters electromagnetic powers.

Hyrule Warriors Legends

Latest Nintendo trailer for Hyrule Warriors Legends featuring the one and only King Daphnes.

Star Wars Battlefront 

New heroes, maps, mode, weapons, star cards and more. Fight among the factories of Sullust and battle within Jabba the Hutt’s palace on Tatooine in the Star Wars Battlefront Outer Rim digital expansion arriving in March 2016.

The first-person psychological horror adventure Obscuritas from VIS Games is available tomorrow in the stores as digital and boxed version for £15,99

Game Tycoon 2

On 24th of March 2016 Game Tycoon 2 will leave the Early Access on Steam. The game has been available in the Early Access since October 2015. During this time period, numerous wishes of the community have been realized. However, the development isn’t finished with this final version, yet. The Mac, Linux and mobile versions will be released shortly.

Developer Team Chesster and indie label Surprise Attack Games today released Chesster, a game that achieves the impossible – a genuinely new twist on match three gameplay. Available for iPhone, iPad and Steam, Chesster blends the movement rules of chess with match three’s rules of combining blocks of the same object.

Disney Magic Kingdoms, a new title from Gameloft, is out today. The game, for smartphones and tablets, allows players to build their very own Disney Parks.
