WRC 6

Developed by Kylotonn’s team of racing enthusiasts, this new version of WRC will raise the WRC experience on consoles to a new level of realism and excitement. This first trailer allows players to feel all the danger and the diversity they will have to face in WRC 6, defying the limits of the most extreme tracks in the world in order to save every possible second. WRC 6 will be available this October for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC/Steam.

Square Enix Collective

Square Enix Collective, the indie-support and publishing initiative from Square Enix, is celebrating a major milestone today as the total money raised via crowdfunding by teams assisted by Collective has now surpassed the $1,000,000 USD mark. With the exception of last month’s successful Fear Effect Sedna campaign, all of the projects supported were based on original IP, from small teams all around the world. Since 2014, Square Enix Collective has helped around 100 developers build awareness and collect feedback via the Collective website, and some of those selected projects have been successfully crowdfunded as a result.

Dreambreak

Digerati to announce a brand new point and click adventure from maverick Russian developer Aist – Dreambreak. You’ll take the role of ordinary everyman named Eugene, dragged by coincidence and circumstance from a life of mundane menial tasks into a baffling world of sudden, inexplicable murder, hidden conspiracy and unrelentingly lethal robots with nasty sharp pincers and lasers coming out of everywhere. Dreambreak will be launching on Steam on July 21st priced at $6.99/£5.49/5,99€ with a 15% discount.

Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past

Nintendo has dropped a new trailer for Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past that introduces the game’s world to us. The game is due out for 3DS in Europe on September 16.

Through the Woods

Through the Woods is a third-person Norse horror adventure set in a forest on the western shore of Norway about a mother and her missing son. Through reactive narration, you play the mother’s re-telling of the events surrounding her son’s disappearance in a setting heavily inspired by Norse mythology and Norwegian folk tales.

Headlander

Headlander is a retro-futuristic, action-adventure game set in a world inspired by 70’s science fiction. It is a world of automation, a utopia gone wrong in which all of humanity have transferred their minds into robotic imposter bodies and are ruled by a deranged computer. Brought to you by Double Fine Productions (Psychonauts, Broken Age) and Adult Swim Games (Duck Game, Jazzpunk), Headlander is guaranteed to be a far-out head trip. Headlander lands July 26th, 2016 for PS4 and PC.

Nintendo Japan has released a trailer for Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon that shows children playing outside and playing video games! Sounds like a great combination while the sun is (sometimes) out.

Bear With Me

Bear With Me, a noire point-and-click adventure from Exordium Games, will launch on PC on August 8. The game’s heroine, a 10-year old girl named Amber, will team up with her imaginary friends as she investigates her brother’s disappearance. To get to the bottom of this mystery Amber will gather clues, interview a cast of toys brought to life and solve puzzles with the help of Ted E. Bear, a hard-boiled private eye with a fondness for cutting one-liners.

Aqua Moto Racing Utopia

Today is the release day of Aqua Moto Racing Utopia. The game borne from dreams of Utopian summers dreamt during long winters and made of glimpses from faded childhood memories. Update 0.16 is focused on addressing a selection of fixes for Armored Warfare based upon community feedback, apart from adding new tanks and maps to the game. Publisher Lilith Games has announced the addition of PvP and Bonus Stages modes for Heroes Tactics, its popular Turn-Based Strategy Action RPG with over one million worldwide users. PvP mode looks to establish Heroes Tactics as a mobile eSports presence that expands the game’s reach and appeal to an even broader audience, while the new Bonus Stages mode offers fresh challenges to the game’s current fan base. Heroes Tactics is currently available for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone devices, and was previously featured on the App Store and Google Play as a “Best Update” selection.
