Tomb Raider Episodes Coming To 360

After many rumors Eidos has finally confirmed that some old school Lara action will be making its way to the 360 later this year via a series of downloadable episodes starting in September, the content however will only be available to those who own Tomb Raider: Legend. It is currently believed the content will offer exactly the same gameplay content as was seen it Tomb Raider: Anniversary on the PS2 and PC but the visuals will be adjusted to graphically match those seen in Legend.

The first two episodes of the game, which are cunningly titled Episodes 1 & 2 will be available along with a free training mission, aka Croft Manor, this September. Eidos have promised that the following two episodes will arrive “shortly afterwards” but have not given a solid date. Tomb Raider: Legend owners will have to pay 2400 Microsoft points (£20.40 / €27.91 / $29.99) for all four episodes.

For those that are cursing all things modern and just want a copy of the game on disc Eidos have also announced plans to release a full retail version of Tomb Raider Anniversary “later in the year“.
