The PS2 port of Resident Evil 4 is proving difficul

The problems seem to stem from the PlayStation2’s memory, of which is only 4-8 bits, while the GCN has 24. Futhermore, the polygon count is quite difficult to raise. The GCN model of Leon has 10,000 polygons, while the PS2 version is just nudging 5,000. 5,000 is about the polygon count of villagers in the GCN version. How is the PS2 going to manage when they come on screen, sometimes in the teens at a time?

It might interest people to know that Snake in Metal Gear Solid 3 only has 4,000 polygons.

Well, what Capcom will do for a quick buck, hey.
