Sports Interactive sign up with Sega

Sports Interactive have signed up with Sega to publish their forthcoming game, Eastside Hockey Manager. This is an ice hockey management game, very much in the style of Championship Manager. It’s interesting to note that SI have recently split from Eidos as the publishers of Championship Manager. Eidos retain the CM name, but SI own the game engine. Rumour has it that their newest football management game will be called simply Football Manager, and will be the true successor to CM. No doubt Sega have their eye on publishing this as well, given that the SI developed CM games were among the biggest selling in PC game history.

More news as we get it.
