Sony may take legal action over Change4Life advert

MCV report that Sony may be taking legal action against the controversial Change4Life advert that came to attention over the course of last week. The advert appears to show a boy with a Dualshock 3 in his hands, along with text that hints towards people risking an early death from playing computer games.

As we said before, the main message of the advert is to inform people to keep active and exercise. However, the way the message was portrayed has annoyed many.

The source that spoke to MCV says that Sony were worried the control pad in the advert bears a “close likeness to PlayStation’s pad,” and that The Gate, that the agency behind the ad, had not contacted Sony beforehand to depict their controller in such a campaign.
