Silent Hill’s homecoming delayed until February in Europe

Konami has confirmed that the Euro version of Silent Hill: Homecoming has been pushed all the way back to February 2009. They gave no reason for the delay, but seeing as the game is already out in the US we would guess they’ve hit a few localisation issues that have significantly held things up.

If you just can’t want for the game, which has being getting rather good reviews over on the other side of the pool, then you can always import the PS3 version to give it a go. Be warned though, the 360 version is not region free, so don’t get caught out trying to pick up that one.

The delay seems to be very much a last minute decision by the company, as just yesterday we were told by Konami’s PR that “Silent Hill is a November release.”
