Shatner Lending His Voice To Legacy.

Speaking to the global news outlet Reuters, William Shatner has confirmed that he’ll be lending his voice for Bethesda Softworks’ forthcoming Xbox 360/PC title, Star Trek: Legacy. Shatner, who played Captain James T. Kirk in the Original Series and the first seven feature films, commented that “I couldn’t imagine someone else playing Captain Kirk, even in a video game, so I kind of got a little territorial.”

In Star Trek: Legacy, players will be able to take the helm of over sixty different craft from the Trek universe, and face a number of enemies including the Borg. Shatner explained he hoped the title would reignite interest in the franchise.
