Sega set to develop game based on Iron Man 2
Sega have announced they will be continuing their partnership with Marvel Entertainment to publish another game in the Iron Man franchise. The game will be called Iron Man 2 – we are sure loads of thought went into that.
The game is slated to come out in 2010, alongside film of the same name. The release of the film is already set for May 7th 2010, so expect the game to hit stores somewhere near that, regardless of if it is full of gamebreaking bugs or not, as it seems Marvel still see games as a means to advertise the movie rather than a quality standalone product.
“We are thrilled to build on the success of the Iron Man phenomenon and work with Marvel and Paramount on another epic project,” says Simon Jeffery, President of SEGA of America, Inc. “SEGA and Marvel are collaborating closely to ensure we deliver an authentic Iron Man experience.”
The game will be based on the same engine of the original game, and will be developed at SEGA Studios San Francisco. Incidentally, we gave tha game a 3 out of 10, with Andi proclaiming “Don’t be a sucker. Avoid, avoid, avoid.” to finish his review.
