Rockstar Confirms 2006 Release For Bully

Reuters reports that Rockstar’s delayed Bully will finally be coming out in October exclusively for the PlayStation 2. They also report that the game is actually about a kid who is trying to defend himself against school bullies at a fictional U.S. boarding school called Bullworth Academy, while dealing with characters ranging from nerds and jocks to authoritarian prefects. This seems to be the complete opposite to what many thought the game would be with many sources over the years believing players would actually play as the bully

The game is being developed by Rockstar’s Vancouver studio, previously known as Barking Dog Studios and responsible for PC strategy game Homeworld: Cataclysm. Following the many delays Rockstar says, the game “can speak for itself. People can look at the game and see what it is and what it’s not.
