Retirement Home Dresses Up For Wii Sports

If you or me, or possibly anyone reading news post, dress up in a bright orange jersey to play Wii Sports then we would be classed as weird. However, when the elderly people of The Riderwood retirement community in Silver Spring, Maryland in the US do it, it seems to be perfectly normal!

Kotaku report that the residences, who are an average 75-years-old, decided to throw the Wii Sports baseball event last week in honour of Barry Bonds historic home run (we don’t know what that is by the way). The event saw each resident having a chance to swing at 15 throws, and when finished the top three players won some snazzy baseball memorabilia, lucky them.
