Ready Steady Cook game coming to Wii/DS
Behold this tweet from last March, a tweet where DarkZero thinks a Ready Steady Cook game would be a good idea. Well, it appears people were listening, as a Ready Steady Cook game is on the way from Endemol. It will be released on Wii and DS on July 3rd.
“We’re delighted to be working with Mindscape to bring one of the UK’s best loved cooking shows onto the Nintendo Wii and DS,” Endemol’s head of consumer products Seema Khan stated. “For the first time ever, fans of the show will be able to play Ready Steady Cook from the comfort of their sofa.”
“Ready Steady Cook is one of the longest running and most popular cookery shows on TV and we are extremely excited to be launching it on Nintendo Wii and DS. Now fans can finally take on the ultimate cooking challenge themselves,” says Mindscape’s international marketing director Achille Coenegracht.
The game will incorporate the value bag section of the show, with players preparing dishes against rival cooks. 60 recipes are said to be included with each version of the game, with the DS also containing instructions for creating the dishes in the kitchen.
