PS3 Slim confirmed for early September

At the Gamescom in Germany, Sony have revealed that the looooooong rumoured PS3 Slim is really real, and is coming to get you the first week of September worldwide. Sony go onto say the new-look console is 32% smaller and 36% lighter, with 34% less power consumption than the original PS3.

The console will cost €299 in Europe, and $299 in the US. No UK price yet. Sorry!
