‘Medal of Honor Pacific Assault™ puts you in the boots of a WWII soldier in the Pacific Theater of Operations. As Marine Private Tommy Conlin, you must survive the devastating attack on Pearl Harbour and then join the Allied crusade to defeat imperial Japan’s bloody conquest of the Pacific. From the attack at Pearl Harbour to the pivotal battle against Japanese Forces at Tarawa Island, Medal of Honour Pacific Assault gives PC gamers a sense of the courage it took to endure and overcome the Japanese threat in WWII and fight for VICTORY in the Pacific.’

Medal of Honour Allied Assault is a difficult game to live up to, as it is widely regarded as one of the best World War II shooters available on the PC. Pacific Assault is looking like it will not only live up to it’s older brother, but will set a new standard for games in this genre.

The game will be based around the conflicts with Japan, during World War II. Players will be defending battleships in Pearl Harbour one minute, and then fighting through the jungles of Guadalcanal, the next. There will be a total of 35 single player missions and eight multiplayer scenarios.

The graphics engine has been re-vamped and now includes features such as mirroring effects, Havok™ physics and real-world visuals. The drastically improved AI, now allows for enemies to co-operate using squad tactics, which adds up to a more realistic feel to the game.

If all of this has set your mouth watering, download the demo and try the game out
