Persona 5 slips to 2016, makes everyone sad. New trailer makes everyone happy. Emotions!

Did you know that Persona 5 is no longer a 2015 game, as it has slipped to 2016. Yes, it is officially a 2016 game in Japan for both PS3 and PS4. Summer 2016 actually. It might even be much later in other regions… 2017 is a possibility. Let’s not talk about that though – maybe Atlus will surprise everyone with a simultaneous multi-region release. To celebrate the delightful delay, a brand new trailer for Persona 5 was Personaed on the Internet. The delay sadly makes the wait even longer for a new Persona game, and all of the remakes, offshoots, tangents, remixes, and dancing games on offer are not enough to turn that frown upside down. If Persona 5 makes it in 2016, it will officially be 8 years since the last mainline game – the PS2 release of Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 in 2008.

The trailer may be just a little short of four minutes in length, but that did not stop Atlus sticking loads of glimpses of different parts of the game in there once again. From cutscenes to gameplay, it seems like everything fans would want to see was shown. Here is that trailer…
