Ouendan! Getting Localized For US And Europe

We can reveal that Osu! Tatakae! Osu! Oendan (or just Ouendan to his friends) is now in the process of been localized (new backgrounds and storylines, and licensed English music) for a European and US release. For those that don’t follow Japanese titles Ouendan is a rhythm where you control a troupe of motivational cheerleaders by providing them rhythm through the DS’s touch screen. The title is published by Nintendo and developed by Inis (of Gitaroo Man fame). To date, Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan has sold about 64,000 copies in Japan.

We can also reveal the some part of the localized version will be demoed at E3 this week either on stage at Nintendo’s conference or on the show floor over the course of the week.
