Nintendo’s ‘Player’s Choice’ Range Expands

Nintendo’s ‘Player’s Choice’ range of budget games is set to expand and will include more than 30 games as off this Friday. This move sees many of the platforms first and third party titles dropping to a budget price of £20.

Of the many titles to receive the budget price treatment it is believed the critically acclaimed first and second party titles including The Legend of Zelda The Wind Waker, SoulCalibur II, F-Zero GX and Mario Party 5 will receive the best sales boost.

More third party additions include FIFA Football 2004 from Electronic Arts along with Harry Potter Quidditch World Cup, The Lord of the Rings The Return of the King, Medal of Honour Rising Sun and Need for Speed Underground.

Activision’s Spider-Man The Movie will also swing into the budget section, alongside Capcom’s Resident Evil 0, Ubisoft’s Rayman 3 and Splinter Cell titles, and the likes of Billy Hatcher and The Giant Egg, Sonic Adventure DX, Sonic Heroes and Sonic Mega Collection from SEGA.

Rounding off the list, Atari titles Dragonball Z Budokai and Enter the Matrix, THQ’s Finding Nemo film adaptation, and Vivendi’s Crash Bandicoot The Wrath of Cortex, Spyro Enter the Dragonfly and The Simpsons Hit & Run will also find themselves reduced to £20 or thereabouts.
