Nintendo returning to Gamescom 2013
A project manager for Gamescom has confirmed that Nintendo will be returning to the convention this year after a notable absence from last year’s show.
Tim Endres, Gamescom project manager at organiser Koelnmesse, says that “Nintendo’s return is an absolute highlight for our community, exhibitors and trade visitors from around the world.” He also hinted at other major companies may possibly return to Gamescom this year, inviting speculation that Microsoft will also attend after skipping last year.
This year promises to be the largest international show Gamescom has ever seen, with attendees from over twelve countries pledged to attend. Endres also mentions that “[t]he next chapter of gamescom is being written and once again promises the best in entertainment. We are also in very promising talks with other key players in the industry with regard to gamescom 2013.”
Thanks, MCV. More information as we get it.
