Nintendo confirms new UK Wii MotionPlus Hardware Bundle

A few days ago it was rumoured that the UK would not be receiving the price drop that has taken place in North America, and instead would be getting a Wii hardware bundle that includes Wii MotionPlus and Wii Sports Resort.

Today Nintendo has confirmed this bundle, which still comes with the Wiimote, Nunchuk and Wii Sports that the Wii has always had. Along with this confirmation, Nintendo also announced that are were dropping the UK trade price of the console back down to £179.99, after it was increased to £199.99 about six months ago.

This means that some retailers could possibly be selling this sporty, motion-plus-enabled bundle for just £179.99. The bundle will be on sale from next Friday 2nd October.
