Nintendo announce New Super Mario Brothers Wii for “holiday 2009”

At their E3 presser in LA, Nintendo have announced they will be bringing a new New Super Mario Brothers game to the Wii. It is another side-scrolling effort in the Mario franchise, but has four-player option – with four different character played on screen (Mario, Luigi, yellow toad and blue toad).

The game will centre around players playing cooprativly to get a high score, with time limits set to preform combos to get multipliers – such as grabing the flag at the end of the level in unison.
