Ninja Gaiden 2 Xbox 360 Exclusive

After confirmation that the title would be on show at TGS happened a few weeks back it has now been confirmed at the pre-TGS press conference that the head slicing action that the game brings will be exclusive to 360 and that Microsoft will be publishing the game come it release sometime next year. IGN report that the real-time video of the game in action shown at the event sees Ryu showcasing many new moves, facing off against machine gun-wielding enemies with his sword, twin blades and shurikens and attacking bosses 10 times his own size as chopped up slain bodies stay on the screen.

The games lead designer TomonobuItagaki commented, “Our goal with Ninja Gaiden 2 is to create the world’s premier action game, just as DOA4 was the premier fighting game when it was released at the 360’s launch and remains the premier fighting game today. I know that a lot of our fans played the first Ninja Gaiden as being a masterpiece and being flawless. However, as a team, we don’t necessarily agree all the time… As I look back, there were maybe 10 or 20 features we weren’t able to implement. Now we’re able to present Ninja Gaiden 2 on Xbox 360 next gen hardware
