New Dark Souls DLC Coming to Consoles

For those of us who were just feeling over the need to play Dark Souls, prepare to die all over again. From Software has just announced that the new content included in the PC release of Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition will also be making its way to consoles sometime during the winter in North America. Titled the Artorias of the Abyss, what we know so far is that the content will be released for 1,200 Microsoft Points and for 14.99 on the Playstation Network. What the content promises is new areas, bosses, enemy types, armor, and NPCs (!) into the game’s experience.

We know that the PC release comes to Europe on August 24th, so our guess is that the content won’t be too much further beyond that. Prepare to die all you lovers of sadism, or just praise the sun that you were smart enough to stay away from what’s been one of the most incredibly challenging, yet rewarding, experiences in recent gaming memory.
