MS date and price upcoming XBLA titles, all 1200MP or higher

Microsoft have released details about three of their upcoming XBLA games, with an official price point announced for all of them. Two come in at 1200MP, whilst the other comes in at 1600MP.

Capcom has decided to tag the Certain Affinity developed Flock with a 1200MP price point. This price point comes after Capcom released almost all of their previous XBLA games for 800 Microsoft points – expect Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix. It will release this Friday, April 8th, should you be still interested.

The new enhanced remake of Lode Runner is next, which is set for release April 22nd, and it will retail at 1200 Microsoft Points as well. It is boasted that the game has 220 levels, 2 and 4 player co-op, and 5 game play modes. Apparently this is enough to justify such a price.

Puzzle Quest: Galactrix is last, also releasing this coming April 8th. It comes in at the rather high 1600MP, which is a bit hard to stomach as it means D3 Publisher are asking a higher price than they asked us to pay for the original Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords, which originally retailed at just 1200MP (now dropped to 800MP thanks to gaining Arcade Hits status).

I am not sure how others feel, but I think it goes without saying that the impulse buy feel is definitely gone from the XBLA service with contining prices like this.
