Microsoft Sued For 360 Disc Scratches

Just after the company seems to be doing their best to fix those dammed red rings of death, Joystiq are reporting that MS are trouble again, this time it’s all got do with nasty scratched discs. The site reports that a suit has been filed in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where the plaintiff and his lawyers are seeking five million dollars to cover the damages and costs. Yes, five million!

The main point of contention in the complaint is that his games “were destroyed by the Xbox 360 during reasonable, foreseeable, normal, and intended use” and “the Xbox 360 was negligently designed and manufactured in that the Console’s laser disc reading assembly contacts and scratches the video game discs during normal and intended operation and use.
