Mega Man Legacy Collection Getting amiibo Support

That hard to find Mega Man amiibo might come in handy in the not so distant future when it gains the ability to unlock ten new challenge modes in the Mega Man Legacy Collection on 3DS. The new challenges won’t replace the existing ones instead they’ll be added in on top of them. The 3DS version of the game is launching in early 2016 but it’s unknown whether or not these amiibo unlocked challenges will be available at launch because they don’t actually exist yet. Capcom used to hold competitions to let the fans design the bosses in the old Mega Man games, in honour of that tradition fans will also be designing the ten amiibo exclusive challenges. It’s unlikely that these new challenges will appear in any other versions of the game because that might upset the fans who spent extra money on the amiibo.
