Master Chief Split Into Eight Pieces And Auctioned

After transforming the skyline for more than five months, Master Chief and the historic Halo 2 advertisement that took over a Sydney landmark are now up for grabs as Xbox auctions the sign worldwide to raise funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Late in 2004, Xbox made advertising history by becoming the first non-Coca Cola Amatil company in 30 years to advertise at the iconic Coke site in Kings Cross, Sydney. Divided into eight pieces, each piece of the Halo 2 advertisement will be accompanied by a commemorative plaque including a photo of the Halo 2 Coke sign and will be personally signed by the team at the games US developer, Bungie Studios. A new auction will begin every five days, starting today.
