Sony, Lik-Sang to go to Court

According to, the lawsuit has been filed against them in the High Court of Hong Kong. It aims to prevent Lik-Sang from selling hardware to UK consumers.

According to the lawsuit, Lik-Sang had violated the PSP trademark by selling that piece of hardware ahead of release in the UK. Also included are apparent claims for damages due to a copy of the PSP owner’s manual, made freely available for download on Lik-Sang’s website.

Lik-Sang will continue to provide consumers with their goods until further notice, vowing to battle Sony.

The PSP will launch in Europe and Australia on September 1st, ten months after the Japanese launch.
