Lego The Lord of the Rings receives official box art

Traveller’s Tales upcoming Lego The Lord of the Rings has received it’s official box art, and the attention to detail has got us looking forward more than ever to the game’s release since seeing it in action at E3.

Highlights in the shot:

  1. Gollum. I mean, look at that delightfully charming grin. Out of all the characters the Lego universe has ever covered, he might be Traveller’s best creation.
  2. The climactic dual between Eowyn and the leader of the Ringwraiths promises to be stunning. Plus, hearing a Lego character say “I am no man” just sounds really entertaining.
  3. Look at the attention to detail in the landscape. TT games has done a great job showcasing how open-ended this game will be, and the box art all but assures us that nothing will be missing when the game ships in a few weeks.
