Leaving Microsoft made Peter Moore sad

Peter Moore has spoken to GamesIndustry.biz to talk about his time with Microsoft, and his new duties with EA. When speaking about the move from one company to the other he commented that “I wouldn’t have come to EA if the label structure wasn’t in place; there was really no room for me [before then]. It was a combo of a great job, living back in the Bay area, and yeah it broke my heart leaving Microsoft, but sometimes you have decisions to make and this is one I did. There was no ‘I think it’s a good time to leave’.

If you remember back to July of last year when he left then you may also remember he got a $550k salary, along with a $1.5M signing bonus for joining the company. We are sure that cheered him up rather quickly.
