James Dooley Scores Socom 3

Composer James Michael Dooley will provide the score to the much-anticipated holiday video game for PS2, “Socom 3 US Navy SEALs.” The score was recorded with a 70 piece orchestra in London at the world-renowed Air Lyndhurst Hall at George Martin’s Air Studios. The new game in the Socom series will support up to 32 players at a time as they battle terrorism to complete their mission. The game provides Realistic SEAL gameplay and mission designs through association with Naval Special Warfare Command.

Dooley applied his technical skills on films ranging from comedies such as Barry Levinson’s “An Everlasting Piece” and Penny Marshall’s “Riding in Cars With Boys” to blockbusters such as Ridley Scott’s “Gladiator,” John Woo’s “Mission Impossible 2”, and Michael Bay’s “Pearl Harbor.” Dooley unique musical voice has complemented the numerous films to which he has participated as an additional composer, arranger and orchestrator for Hans Zimmer and Klaus Badelt’s feature films including “Batman Begins” as well as Ridley Scott’s “Hannibal,” “Black Hawk Down,” and “Matchstick Men.”
