It’s the last day to back Double Fine’s Kickstarter, $3million in sight

After running for almost a month, today, March 13th, is the final day EVER to back Double Fine’s Kickstarter project for a new, snazzy Adventure Game.

If our math is right, donations will close at 11AM tonight UK Time (GMT) – at which point you will no longer be able to give your money to those crazy people.

At the time of writing, the project is closing in on $3,000,000, which is an amazing number, as $400.000 was the original goal expected by Double Fine. Fans of adventure games are really great it seems.

If you have not pledged before, $15 will get you a code to download the game upon release – and access to a forum to discuss the game as it is developed. $30 will get you that, plus access to a multi-episode documentary on the game

$100 is probably the most impressive tier, as if you donate that brobdingnagian amount, Double Fine will send you a special edition box containing both the game disc and a DVD or Blu-Ray of the documentary, a Double Fine Adventure Backer T-shirt, a original “Double Fine Adventure” poster (suitable for framing), give you a mention in the the game’s credits, along with a code for the game to download, and send you a PDF version of an art book about the game.
