Irrational Games Gets A New Name

In a decision that is best described as Irrational, Take-Two has announced today they have change the name of Boston based studio Irrational Games, founded in 1997, to 2K Boston and 2K Australia. The oh so clever names come from the fact that the studio is headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts and has offices in Canberra, Australia. Irrational Games, sorry, 2K Boston’s, next big game is the upcoming BioShock, available exclusively for the Xbox 360 and PC which will be available in Europe August 24th.
