Treyarch still likely to develop more COD

Eurogamer have done some actual journalism and have asked a source inside Activision about recent rumours which hinted Infinity Ward was to take control of the entire Call of Duty series. As a result the publisher has spoken out to rubbished those rumours commenting that they are “total fabrication, and that Treyarch and Infinity Ward would still alternately create instalments in the shooter series.”

The rumours also commmented that Activision Underground was to make a third-person Call of Duty spin-off, but now the existence of that game also remains up in the air. Regardless, even if that title existed it is now most likely very much dead due to the upcoming closure of that studio
