New Uncharted Details!

Some new information was revealed on both Uncharted 4 and The Nathan Drake Collection during yesterdays Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection live stream. Let’s take a look at some of that now. Brutal mode was previously announced for The Nathan Drake Collection and now it’s been confirmed for Uncharted 4 as well. You’ll have to complete the games on Crushing in order to unlock Brutal, and let me tell you from experience Crushing is no walk in the park so don’t expect those platinum’s to ping without a little effort.

Uncharted 4’s narrative was discussed next. Apparently you won’t need to play the other games to enjoy the story but you’ll get more out of it if you do. Good thing The Nathan Drake Collection will give you a chance to fall in love with the characters months before 4 even releases. Uncharted 4’s cut-scenes will be done in real-time meaning if you have a specific gun on Nate’s back or a wound it will appear in the cut-scenes.

While they didn’t think it would be possible Bluepoint Games have managed to compress all three of the PS3’s Uncharted games enough to fit them onto one disk in The Nathan Drake Collection. There’ll be no annoying disk swapping to hinder the flow of your adventures then! Finally, and perhaps the biggest piece of news for fans of doughnuts, many different characters will be receiving the doughnut treatment in The Nathan Drake Collection, some that never even received it before.
