Bioshock will be back on the App Store After All

A few days ago a writer, who will look very silly now, posted a news feature on DarkZero telling of how Bioshock was permanently removed from the App Store. If you want to read the words of this rambling buffoon you can do so here. If you don’t want to read the words of a False Shepard (a little in joke for Bioshock fans) in summary they went something like this: Bioshock was removed from the App Store meaning iPhone and iPad users couldn’t purchase it or re-download it. It was removed because the game was unplayable on newer versions of iOS. While the games publishers, 2K, couldn’t offer a refund on it Apple would be able to help you out.

Most of that is actually still true, but as it turns out the game will be coming back to the App Store once the developers have figured out how to fix it. It turns out that the customer service rep that said the game wouldn’t be coming back was wrong, but presumably those of you that are unhappy due to not being able to play the game at the time being can still reach out to Apple for a refund.
